Hello fellow Trekkies, this posting has nothing to do with Star Trek,and for that I appologize. The reason for this post is that I have a question,Is it o.k. to riddicule,degrade,and call people things like liar,a hoax,a dork,retarted? Just based on what they post in thier bloggs. The reason I ask is that for the last three days I have been recieving these comments on my blog at www.myfoxphoenix.com from people who disagree with my views on immigration reform.I was just wondering.

How many Startrek fans are there in Phoenix? I am a fan of all them. Voyager and Enterprise has to be my favorite of all.

My first recolection of Star Trek is watching the very first episode,The Managari,it was 1982 and I was six years old. It was spring,maybe summer,and my aunt wanted to show me a show(I guess she thought it would capture my immagination,boy was she right!!)In fact,Gene Rodenbarry,Steven Spielberg,and George Lucas were the first directors/produsers that I knew. Through these men I have come to understand the true nature of man,if we wish to survive,as a spieces,and live in peace,then we must expand,and since we have no more room on earth,then we must go heavenward. After 16 years of non-accredited(independent) accademic research,it is my belief that we can have a lunar AND a marshin colony within 10 years,at an estimated cost of about $10 million dollars(in todays dollars,not 1969 dollars). The only thing holding us back is GREED.
