Disturbed

Distrubed is a rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The group was formed in 1996 when musicians Dan Donegan, Steve "Fuzz" Kmak, and Mike Wengren hired singer David Draiman in Chicago, Illinois. They have sold over 10 million albums worldwide. Originally classified as a nu metal band, Distrubed is now regarded by some music critics as hard rock or heavy metal, although others now regard them as alternative metal. However, the band's genre is still being debated.

Their debut album, titled The Sickness, released in 2000,launched the band into stardom. The song " Down With the Sickness" from the album became extremely popular and waslaterused in many film soundtracks.

On June 4, 2002, Distrubedreleased a "documentary" about the band titled M.O.L., which showed the band in personal in the studio and during tours.

In September 2002, Distrubedreleasedtheirsecond studio album titledBelieve, whichdebutedat #1. ManyfanswereimpressedwithDistrubed'snew album, despiteitbeingless aggressive thantheirdebut album.

In early 2003, afterDistrubedhadfinished the Musicas a Weapon II tour, bassistFuzzleftthe band. Hewasreplacedwith Matt Konopinskiverybriefly, and then John Moyer, whoisnow the currentbass player.

Their third album “Ten ThousandFists” was released world wide onSeptember 20, 2005 and it also debuted at #1 in North America.

The band then worked on the new album and they finished recording in December of 2007. The album, “Indestructible,” is set forrelease on June 3, 2008.

The first single fromIndestructible, "Inside the Fire,”wasmadeinto a music video and wasreleased on May 2nd, 2008.
