The Ting Tings , English indie-pop band, consisting of two members: Jules De Martino whom plays drums, guitar, and vocals; Katie White who does vocals, guitar, as well as bass drum. They were originally from Leigh, Greater Manchester. The Ting Tings were formed in 2006 while living in Castle Irwell, Salford. Releasing 3 singles on their current label Columbia Records with the single "That's Not My Name" which went straight to Number 1 on the UK Singles Chart on May 18 2008. Their most current album “We Started Nothing” was released on May 19th, 2008 and also found its way to Number 1 in the UK.
