Ben Harper. American guitarist, composer, author, singer, songwriter and leader of the band Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals. Benjamin Chase, known as "Ben" Harper, was born on October 28th, 1969 in Claremont California. When he was a boy, he played guitar in the back of his grandparents' music shop. Ben Harper's style is easily recognizable for the exotic sound of the Weissenborn guitar (popular amongst Hawaiian guitarists and for lap-steel guitars played with the slide).

Muse. English band composed of Matthew Bellamy (guitar, voice and piano), Dominic Howard and Christopher Wolstenholme (bass). Although Muse began playing in the mid-nineties in the era of Brit Pop (Oasis, Blur) they are more of an alternative rock band and have a very different sound, influenced by electronic, metal, progressive rock and even classical music.
Their songs are about apocalypse, war, life, the universe, politics. Most of the lyrics were written by Bellamy, who also composed most of the songs on the piano. This power-trio is really energetic, especially in the execution of their songs.

Paul Mccartney. James Paul McCartney was born in Liverpool on June 18, 1942. A former member of the Beatles, for which he wrote some of the most popular songs in modern music history, Paul began his career as a soloist in 1966, just a few weeks after the release of “Let It Be”, the last official Beatles album. Composer and musician, Paul is also an actor, painter and music and film producer. He has composed songs for other artists, as well as played with other artists (including Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Elvis Costello, just to name a few).

Oasis. English rock group Oasis, from Manchester, started playing in 1991 and became one of the most famous and successful Britpop bands. Guided by singer, songwriter and guitar player Noel Gallagher and his brother singer and songwriter Liam Gallagher, the band is currently composed of rhythmic guitarist Gem Archer and bass player Andy Bell. The drummer Zak Starkey, son of Beatle's drummer Ringo Starr, is a semi-official member of the band. The group became famous in 1994 with their debut album Definitely Maybe, followed by (What's the Story) Morning Glory? In 1995 which sold 19 million copies.

Michael Jackson. Michael was born on August 29th 1958 in Gary Indiana and passed away in Los Angeles on June 25th 2009. In the 1970's he was part of the Jackson Five, a family band; Michael was a singer, dancer and actor. He was also a friend of celebrity Liz Taylor. Through the good and the bad, people were always talking about Michael. He was obsessed with living in a sterile environment and surgically changed the alignment of his face and whitened his skin. In 1971 he debuted as a soloist with the single Got to be there. In 1982 he became the most successful pop artist in the world.
